
Ken Armstrong, President, CEO and Director
Mr Armstrong brings to his position, over 27 years of experience in the exploration industry. Through this period he has been involved in diamond, lithium, gold and nickel exploration throughout North America. He spent as decade (from 2005-2015) as President and CEO of Strongbow Exploration (now Cornish Metals) where he remains a director. Prior to that time he worked as a geologist for a number of companies including Rio Tinto, Aber Resources, Navigator Exploration and is past President of the Northwest Territories & Nunavut Chamber of Mines. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (1992) and Queen's University (1995) and is a registered Professional Geoscientist in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Province of Ontario.
North Arrow’s exploration programs are conducted under the direction of Mr. Armstrong, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Mr. Armstrong has reviewed all information posted on this website that is of a scientific or technical nature and relates to North Arrow’s exploration projects.
Wayne Johnstone, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Johnstone graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1977 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree and in 1979 earned his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. He has over 40 years experience with private and public companies. Most of that time has been focused on public mineral exploration and development companies working throughout North and South America, including acting as CFO of New Dimension Resources and of Creston Moly Corp.
Brenda Nowak, Corporate Secretary
Ms. Nowak has over 30 years of experience in the securities legal industry. In addition to her roll with North Arrow she is also the Corporate Secretary for Cornish Metals Inc (formerly Strongbow Exploration). In the past she has held this same position for Filo Mining Corp., International Northair Mines Ltd., New Dimension Resources Ltd., Troon Ventures Ltd., Stornoway Diamond Corporation, Capstone Mining Corp., Creston Moly Corp., Kaminak Gold Corporation, Bluestone Resources Inc., Kivalliq Energy Corporation and West Melville Metals Inc. Prior to her career as a Corporate Secretary in the junior resource sector, Ms. Nowak was a paralegal with DuMoulin Black LLP and held positions with Nexus Venture Capital Lawyers and Aber Diamond Corporation.
Allison Armstrong, Advisor
Allison Rippin Armstrong has over 25 years of experience in permitting, regulatory processes and environmental compliance, working with Indigenous organizations, resource companies, regulatory agencies, indigenous, territorial and federal governments. She served as the Vice President of Sustainability at Kaminak Gold Corp. until it was acquired by Goldcorp in 2016.
Ms. Rippin Armstrong has served on the board of Yukon Women in Mining as Vice President for three years. She is a founding member of the Yukon University Foundation Board and has served on NWT and Nunavut Chambers of Mines as well as a number of working groups for the PDAC. Ms. Rippin Armstrong has recieved six different awards recognizing her achievements in the industry.

Eira Thomas, Chair
Ms. Thomas brings more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, including 14 years with Aber Diamond Corporation where she served in ever increasing roles from initial discovery of the Diavik deposit as a geologist to Vice President Exploration and ultimately a Director of the Board. She was co-founder of Stornoway Diamond Corp., serving first as CEO and then as Executive Chairman. There she led the acquisition of the Renard diamond deposit, which subsequently became Quebec's first diamond mine. In 2007, she founded Lucara with partners Mr. Lukas Lundin and Ms. Catherine McLeod Seltzer and served as CEO between 2018 and 2023. Eira also served as CEO of Kaminak Gold Corporation, which was acquired by Goldcorp in 2016 for $520 Million and served as a Director of Suncor Energy for 17 years.
Blair Murdoch, Director
Mr. Murdoch has over 30 years experience in senior management in both private and public companies, with expertise encompassing sales, marketing and finance. Mr. Murdoch was a founding partner of Arc'teryx, former Governor of Collingwood School and he holds a B.Sc. (Mathematics) from the University of British Columbia
Torrie Chartier, Director
Ms. Chartier has over 20 years of experience as a diamond exploration geologist. In the 1980-90’s, Torrie worked as an independent consultant and diamond geologist in exploration projects for various junior companies and was directly involved in the discovery of kimberlites in Michigan, NWT, Nunavut, and Greenland. Torrie presently serves as CFO and a Director of Uravan Minerals Inc, a Calgary-based junior uranium explorer. In March 2022, Elbow River Helicopters, the company she formed with her partner, Bruce Holloway, was sold to Blackcomb Helicopters. She has remained on as the Regional Manager, Business Development.
