Health and Safety

At North Arrow Minerals Inc. (“North Arrow”), commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff and the communities in which we work is engrained in our culture. It is our goal to provide safe and healthy workplaces by developing, maintaining, and promoting safe and productive work practices in all aspects of our business.

To achieve this, North Arrow’s Health and Safety Plans (office and in the field) include, but are not limited to:

To ensure these measures are implemented appropriately, North Arrow conducts “Risk Assessments” to identify hazards and risk factors that have the potential to cause harm (hazard identification), analyze and evaluate the risk associated with each identified hazard (risk analysis, and risk evaluation), and determine appropriate ways to eliminate the hazard, or control the risk when the hazard cannot be eliminated (risk control).

North Arrow pledges to abide by any specific and/or mandated health and safety regulations applicable, by jurisdiction, to its operations.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the priority of North Arrow’s business remains focused on the health, safety and well being of its employees, contractors, and the communities in which we operate. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any North Arrow worksite, and we continue to work with territorial, provincial and federal health authorities to adhere to all government requirements and update our preventative measures as required.

Nothing is more important to us than the health, safety, and well-being of our employees. Providing the safest possible working environment is one of our highest priorities. Occupational Health and Safety (“OH&S”) has also been identified by the World Health Organization (“WHO”) as one of the basic elements of sustainable development. Protecting labor rights and promoting a safe and secure working environment for all staff is our primary goal.

North Arrow is continuing to manage and respond to COVID-19 within the framework of our COVID-19 Response Plan (the “Plan”), recommendations of health authorities, and local and national regulatory requirements.

We have taken numerous steps to ensure needs are being addressed in the communities and regions in which we operate. Our operations have shared action plans and preventative measures being implemented, while seeking and considering input from our employees, contractors, communities, and industry peers to ensure we are delivering responsive actions consistent with broader efforts.

Across all our projects we continue to identify and implement measures to protect our employees and the communities we work in. We have implemented several measures including, but not limited to:
